Some years ago, Barnsley FC’s club historian lent me all the issues of the popular South Riding fanzines. I spent considerable time scanning them all in and created little Flash-based flipbooks of all the back issues. Gally (webmaster at barnsleyfc.org.uk) kindly hosted these on his fans’ forum and hundreds of Barnsley fans got to read these lost gems again.

They took up a lot of server space and after the initial few months, hits rapidly dwindled and during a server migration on Gally’s site, they were taken down. Periodically, however, someone on the forums enquires about them so I decided to find a free host to put them online. The flip book viewer stopped working years ago when Flash became obsolete, then for some reason the free hosts deleted the PDF files! Anyway, I've finally located the hard drive I stored them all on and I've re-uploaded them, along with a Flash emulator to (hopefully) reinstate the flip books, although these seem to need a mouse and are not mobile/touchscreen-friendly.

I’m sorry for the basic site and the lacklustre download speeds but that’s my web design skills and free hosting solutions summed up. I might, one day make a better job (or if anyone else feels inclined, hint, hint!) but I'm promising nothing.

Anyway, here they are for anyone who wants them.
